Three Ireland’s EStars is Ireland’s biggest ever esports tournament, showcasing the intense action and epic drama of competitive gaming at a premier level, on a scale never before seen in this country.
Ten teams. Fifty competitors. All focused on taking their chance to win €20,000 and a trip to Las Vegas. This is not a game.
March 14th will see the battle commence. Dundalk. Cork. Sligo. Bray. Dublin. Limerick. Derry. Eight grueling weeks of competition across the country, taking the four top teams to the 3Arena on May 13th, 2018, the victors to Las Vegas and the top players throughout the contest on the next stage of their esports career.

WHAT GAME WILL BE PLAYED?
The phenomenal strategic battlefield and the world’s most played game: League of Legends. With over 27 million players every day, it is one of the most popular MMOs in the world, and that’s why we’ve chosen it as the field of play for Three Ireland’s EStars.
HOW WILL THE COMPETITION BE FOUGHT?
League Stage – Each of the teams will contest a weekly fixture across eight weeks. All teams will play each other once. At each League event, each team will play a single match against their opponent, with the winner being awarded one point.
The 3ARENA – After battling across nine fixtures, the top four teams will face off in the semi-finals, with the winners securing their spot in the high stakes final. The finalists will face one last clash, before Three Ireland’s EStars 2018 is definitively decided. To the victors, €20,000 and a trip to Las Vegas.
WHERE DO THE LEAGUE FIXTURES TAKE PLACE?
League stage bouts will take place on board Big Betty – the world’s first mobile esports arena. Big Betty will be pulling in at a different League of Ireland football club each week, with the playoffs and grand final being held at the world famous 3Arena in Dublin. WHAT ARE THE STAKES?
The winning team will be awarded €20,000 as well as jetting off on an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas to check out the esports scene Stateside. This is competition. This is proving your mettle. This is not a game.
